Cortex Dao is an open-science coordination layer for collecting, governing and using brain and health data with explicit consent, connected to GPU compute that researchers can rent by the hour.

Biomedical research keeps running into the same walls: datasets split across silos, unclear ownership, incentives that reward extraction, and compute that small teams cannot afford. Cortex Dao answers with a model where people keep control of their data, contributions are recorded transparently, and discovery is accelerated by infrastructure built for scientific work.

Participation, access rights and governance are coordinated on Robinhood Chain. Tokens coordinate who may do what; they never represent a person, a body or a health outcome.

$CORTEXDAO is the utility and governance token of Cortex Dao on Robinhood Chain. It is used to vote on proposals, unlock discount tiers on CortexOS compute, and take part in research funding rounds.

$CORTEXDAO is designed for use inside the network only. It does not represent equity, ownership, a share of profits, or any claim on assets or revenue.

Breakthroughs come from three things working together: high-quality consented data, compute that scales, and governance people can see. Cortex Dao treats discovery as the outcome of that system rather than of any single model or lab.

Cortex Dao never writes personal health data to a public blockchain. Sensitive data is kept off-chain in access-controlled storage. What goes on-chain is the permission: who asked, what scope was granted, and when it ends.

Apps in the ecosystem are interfaces to the protocol, not custodians of your data, and must follow the same consent rules.

CortexGPU supplies GPU capacity in two ways: quote-based enterprise capacity for large jobs, and self-serve CortexOSdesktops with the GPU passed straight through. The same hardware also runs network-aligned research and analysis.

• CortexVoice — Research-stage speech analysis that treats the voice as a measurable signal, with participants holding the keys to their recordings.
• Mindwave — A voice-and-task study that tracks mood, attention and creativity over time, comparing what people report with what can be measured.
• Terpa — An education app that links plant chemistry with what users actually report, backed by shared data and reviewed sources.
• Resona — Music matched to how you feel right now, with fans backing artists directly and listening data they can verify.

Proposals cover protocol upgrades, product priorities, compute pricing tiers and treasury spending. Each proposal is published with its reasoning, voted on by $CORTEXDAO holders, and recorded alongside its result.

Treasury movements and revenue methods are shown on the public dashboard so votes can be checked against what happened.
